In principal the Quantum Touch® practitioner focuses and amplifies life-force energy, which is most often referred to as “Chi” or “Prana”. This is accomplished by combining various breathing and body awareness exercises. When the practitioner holds a high vibrational field of life-force energy around an affected area, through a process of resonance and entrainment, the client naturally matches the vibration of the practitioner, allowing one’s own biological intelligence to do whatever healing it deems necessary.

To receive the treatment you will stay fully clothed and can choose to remain seated or lie down comfortably. The practitioner places his or her hands on or above the area that needs healing. There is no pressure or strict sequence as the practitioner works with intuition and guidance from the client. The treatment feels very natural and a feeling of well-being is often experienced. Quantum Touch® is ideally suited to be combined with a wide variety of complementary therapies as it amplifies the effectiveness of any other treatment.

Most people would experience Quantum Touch® as being very relaxing, instilling a great sense of peace and calm. Stress and tension are released and pain often disappears after a very short period of time. Quantum Touch® can provide balance, healing, comfort, and postural realignment, because it is instinctive, natural and very effective.

How is Quantum-Touch® performed?
QT endorses the belief that the body knows how to heal itself and has an innate preference for wholeness and health. Using intention, attention, breathing, and the body’s innate intelligence, the practitioners run energy to raise their vibration and the resonance of their hands then place the hands on the client’s fully clothed body in specific positions to raise the client’s vibration until the healing occurs.The foremost principles of QT are resonance and entrainment. This means raising your vibration and connecting it with another’s, and holding this high vibration. When two things vibrate at different frequencies, the law of resonance states that the lower frequency comes up, or the upper frequency goes down, or they meet in the middle. The practitioner is holding a strong vibration so that the client’s energy entrains up to match that higher vibration. This higher vibration supports the healing process.
